Responsibilities
* Develop and executing sales plans for clients, regionals and nationally.
* Generate new business from new and existing customers while ensuring the efficient follow up of all potential customer opportunities..
* Manage and coordinate the scheduling of projects/jobs, ensuring they are completed within deadlines and to client satisfaction. Monitor and control costs, ensuring projects/jobs are completed within budget..
* Conduct and partake in regular performance evaluations for team members, identifying areas for improvement and providing training and development opportunities.
* Act as a key point of contact for clients, providing expert advice and resolving any issues or complaints promptly and professionally
* Attending monthly & quarterly meetings as required, to discuss sales, operational and customer service plans and KPIs.
* Review the project schedule with other management and staff that will be affected by the project activities; revise the schedule as required.
* Expanding the customer base by upselling and cross-selling and developing new income streams in the drainage sector.
* Support maintenance of fleet of vehicles and equipment, as directed, ensuring they are always in top condition and adhering to maintenance schedules
* This role is field-based and will require regional travel.
* Support the contracts team in resolving customer complaints quickly and efficiently.
* Keeping customers updated on the latest market products

Quals and Experience
* Working knowledge of Health and Safety
* Account management, Operational management and Business development experience.
* Great communication skills and a clear understanding of markets and consumer behaviour.
* Experience and knowledge of the designated region, and the key players within it.
* Excellent leadership skills and qualities to gain the best results from others within the department.
* A proven track record of achievement in Sales and Operations.
* Self-motivated and confident, with experience in working under pressure and to tight deadlines.
* Experience working within a 24/7, 365-day-a-year operation.
* Proficiency in using Microsoft; Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
* Communications & Team spirit philosophy.
* Flexibility of approach, modern and professional.
* A minimum of 3 years’ experience
