We are looking for a passionate and committed SEN Primary Teacher to join a friendly and well-established SEN school in Shrewsbury. This temp-to-perm role begins in January 2025 and offers an excellent opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of children with diverse learning needs.
Role Highlights:
* Design and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons tailored to children with SEN.
* Provide support to students with a range of needs, including autism, moderate learning difficulties (MLD), and complex requirements.
* Collaborate with support staff and other professionals to foster a positive and nurturing learning environment.
* Monitor and assess pupil progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience working with children with additional needs, ideally in an SEN setting.
* Strong communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
* A patient, empathetic, and adaptable teaching style.

Requirements
To be considered for the SEN Teacher position you will:
· Previous experience in a primary school setting or SEN school
· Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team
· Hold the Right to Work in the UK
· Have a QTS
· Have a DBS Certificate on the Update Service / Willing to obtain one
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position is previous experience working in a primary school setting
