The Job
As a Senior Electronic Design Engineer, you will design new circuits from the initial specification and integrate them into mechanical housings, ready for test and final production.
Technical responsibilities:
* Prototyping and Breadboarding
* PCB layout design using Altium
* Design for ease of manufacture and assembly
* Design for CE marking, EMC and Low Voltage Directive
* Test and validation internally and with third-party approval bodies
About You
As Electronics Design Engineer, we seek the following skills and experience:
* HNC/HND/Degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent
* Proficiency in analogue and digital circuit design using Altium for schematic capture and layout
* Microcontrollers
* Ability to benchmark / reverse engineer and analyse circuits
Desirable Skills
* Understanding of hazardous location electronics
* Knowledge of intrinsic safety and limited energy circuits
* Design experience with wide temperature range products
