We are working with a highly regarded client looking for a motivated and capable Deputy Manager to progress into a Registered Manager role. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a solo Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) home near Plymouth, making a real difference in young people's lives.

About the Role

As the Registered Manager, you will:

Oversee the day-to-day running of a solo EBD residential home.

Ensure the highest standards of care, safety, and compliance with Ofsted regulations.

Provide leadership and support to your team, fostering a positive and nurturing environment.

Develop care plans tailored to individual needs, promoting the best possible outcomes for the young person.

Build strong relationships with families, local authorities, and other stakeholders.

About You

You will bring:

Proven experience as a Deputy Manager in residential childcare, with a track record of leadership.

An NVQ Level 3 (Children and Young People) as a minimum, with Level 5 in Leadership and Management or a commitment to complete it.

A passion for supporting young people with EBD, alongside strong safeguarding knowledge.

Excellent organisational and communication skills.

Drive and resilience to step into a challenging yet highly rewarding leadership role.
