Teaching Assistant (Full Time – Starting ASAP)

£85 - £95 per day (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The role 
Vision for Education is currently recruiting a Teaching Assistant to join a Primary school in LS26 to start ASAP on a Full-Time basis. The ideal candidate will preferably hold a level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (but not essential) and will have recent experience in a Primary School working as a Teaching Assistant. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching phonics and strong phonics knowledge as a result. 

The school 
The primary school is at the heart of the community and fully embraced by all members of the community. Children are taught that it’s right and safe to question; to “think for yourself” and do the right thing.

Requirements 
The desired Teaching Assistant will have:

• Have experience working with Primary School aged children.   

• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of support staff.

• Have a passion for helping to support teaching staff across all subjects.
