We are looking to appoint a Business Studies Teacher to join a high school in Blackpool. This full-time, fixed-term role is ideal for a educator dedicated to inspiring young people and helping students develop an understanding of business concepts.
About the Role:
As our Business Studies Teacher, you will:
Deliver engaging lessons to Key Stage 3, 4, and potentially Key Stage 5 students, following the national curriculum.
Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages all students to reach their potential.
Collaborate with the Business Studies department to develop resources, assess student progress, and support individual learning needs.
Prepare students for GCSE exams, ensuring they are well-equipped to achieve strong results.
About You:
To succeed in this role, you should have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential.
A proven track record of teaching Business Studies at the secondary level, or relevant experience for newly qualified teachers.
Strong subject knowledge and the ability to make complex concepts accessible and engaging for students.
Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
A proactive approach, with a commitment to contributing to the wider school community and working collaboratively with colleagues.
