Search Consultancy are recruiting for an experienced Chef to work with one of our clients within the Arran Area in a Care Home Setting for 3 to 6 Months.

Location: Arran, Scotland

Rate of Pay: £20 per hour

Job Type: Full Time Position for 3 to 6 Months.

Shift Pattern: Full Time - Flexible with Hours

About the Role: We are a recruitment agency seeking dedicated and a reliable chef for a care home in Arran.

Menu Planning and Preparation
Preparing and cooking meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as snacks and special dietary requirements
Ensuring all food preparation and kitchen activities meet health and safety standards.
Ordering and managing kitchen supplies, ensuring that ingredients are fresh and available when needed
Overseeing and training junior kitchen staff, ensuring they follow proper procedures and maintain high standards

Requirements:

Must have a valid PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) certificate.
Must be able to drive due to the remote location.
Strong commitment to the role for the duration of 3 to 6 months.
Previous experience in a similar role is essential.Benefits:
