SHIFT PATTERN:

Monday to Friday Rotating Shifts

Days 06:00 – 14:00

Afters 14:00 – 22:00

Major Talent are looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to join a well established food manufacturer that has built its reputation over the last 150 years.

As part of their long-term commitment to minimising downtime, they are looking to add to the maintenance team to assist with maintaining all machinery/equipment on site. This role would suit someone who is electrically biased, but also has strong mechanical capabilities.

THE ROLE:

As a Maintenance Engineer you will be required to:

* Troubleshoot and correct any breakdown issues in a timely and efficient manner

* Repair equipment and machinery

* Plan and Manage PPM Schedules

* Upgrade, service and install new and existing equipment

* Ensure all Health & Safety policies are adhered to

* Identify areas of improvement and cost reduction

* Carry out shift handovers

THE CANDIDATE:

The idead Maintenance Engineer:

* Worked in a Food manufacturing environment (essential)

* City & Guilds 17th or 18th Edition or relevant HNC

* Excellent problem-solving ability

* Multi-skilled capability – need to be able to signoff Electrical work

* Ability to effectively communicate and engage with people across all levels
