At Pathway Group, we’re dedicated to changing lives through skills and work. We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Vocational Tutor in Health & Social Care to join our team. If you have a Level 3 teaching qualification, an Assessor qualification (A1, TAQA, CAVA, or equivalent), and a commitment to quality education, this role is a chance to make a real difference.

About the Role: As a Health and Social Care Tutor, you’ll deliver high-quality, impactful learning experiences, helping learners develop the skills, knowledge, and behaviours needed for successful careers in the Health & Social Care sector. You’ll be responsible for planning and delivering vocational education, meeting awarding body requirements, and providing comprehensive support to each learner, from their initial engagement to achieving their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver engaging and thorough teaching sessions aligned with vocational requirements.

* Mentor and assess learners, focusing on high standards and successful outcomes.

* Address challenges such as attendance, behaviour, and class performance.

* Collaborate with the team to create a positive, learner-centered environment.

What We’re Looking For:

* Level 3 teaching qualification and Assessor qualification (A1, TAQA, CAVA, etc.)

* Experience in education or training delivery, ideally in Health & Social Care.

* Commitment to continuous professional development and safeguarding.

* Strong communication and coaching skills, with a passion for learner success.

* Knowledge of curriculum design, assessment methods, and OFSTED standards.

* The ability to also deliver Functional Skills up to Level 2 is also advantagous
