My client based in Sunderland is looking for a commercial/industrial Electrician to join their team for the next 5 months

Main Purpose: The Electrician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of all types of commercial and industrial electrical systems. This includes, but is not limited to, the installation of trays, ladders, conduits, trunking, and various types of cables (SWA, SY, YY, and tri-rated).

Key Requirements:

1. Clean UK Driving License

2. ECS Installation Electrician Card (CSCS Affiliation)

3. BS7671 18th Edition Certification

4. MEWP (IPAF) Category 3a/3b Certification

5. Electrical Test & Inspection Qualification (preferred, but not essential)

6. Flexibility for weekend overtime

7. Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, with potential adjustment to 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM during peak and shutdown periods

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Site Reporting & Travel: Report to the client’s office in Sunderland and travel to local sites in and around the Sunderland area using one of client’s van.

2. Work Coordination: Liaise with the supervisor to confirm work scope and ensure all necessary tools and materials are available for the task.

3. Installation Work: Work from power, control, and wiring diagrams, as well as layout drawings, to execute installations efficiently and accurately.

4. Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with site-specific rules and regulations, adhering to specific site health and safety standards.
