Titile: Graduate Teaching Assistant

Salary: £89 – £105 per day

GSL Education is looking for Graduate Teaching Assistants to provide 1:1 and small group support in a large Secondary School in Hull. This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates looking to gain classroom experience before progressing into teaching or other education roles.

Your Role as a Graduate Teaching Assistant:

✅ Work under the SENCO to support Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
✅ Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with special educational needs.
✅ Support teachers with classroom behaviour management and engagement.
✅ Build positive relationships with students, acting as a role model.
✅ Encourage students to develop independence in their learning.
✅ Assist with breaktime and lunchtime supervision when required.
✅ Take part in training and CPD opportunities to develop your skills.

What We’re Looking For:

A graduate from any subject area—particularly Education, Psychology, English, Maths, or Science.
Someone who is passionate about working with young people and helping them succeed.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Experience in coaching, mentoring, tutoring, or youth work is a plus!
