Salary: Up to £45,000 + Benefits Package
Are you an experienced Site Manager looking for your next challenge? We are recruiting for a Tier One Infrastructure Contractor to deliver a key project for a leading utilities provider in Washington, Tyne and Wear.
About the Role:
As the Site Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of a critical infrastructure project, including repairs, maintenance, reinstatement, and excavation of pipework. You will ensure that all activities are carried out efficiently, on time, and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and lead site operations, including repairs, maintenance, and excavation
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers
Oversee project timelines and budgets
Report progress to senior management and the client
Maintain strong client relationships
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Site Manager, ideally in the utilities or infrastructure sector
Strong knowledge of excavation, pipework, and reinstatement projects
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders
A valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) qualification
