About The Role
Support Worker – Cardiff – Oakfiled House - Hourly rate £11.60 to £12.50 dependent on qualifications and experience - Full Time role – 40.25 hours per week
**Please note this role requires a driver’s license**

Role Overview: As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day support and care of individuals with autism. You will help create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
About Oakfield House: Oakfield House is a bright, open and fun place to live and learn. Situated next to Birchwood School, Oakfield House is our home for children with autism between the ages of 8 to 18. Our children are supported to socialise and make lifelong friends in a safe and nurturing environment. The children we support have access to a peer group, where they can learn, make mistakes, practice and ultimately succeed.
A day in the life of working at Oakfield House includes:
Provide high-quality care and support to individuals with autism, tailored to their specific needs and preferences.
Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
Encourage and support individuals in participating in community activities, leisure pursuits, and educational programs.
Foster a positive, supportive environment that promotes independence and personal development.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised care plans.
Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and organisational standards.Sound good so far? We are looking for people who care and have:
