Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare detailed mechanical estimates for building services projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tender specifications.

* Analyse drawings, specifications, and other project documentation to create comprehensive costings.

* Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.

* Collaborate with the design and project management teams to ensure estimates meet the project scope and requirements.

* Identify and evaluate potential risks and opportunities within the tender process.

* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, materials, and labour costs.

* Assist in negotiating contracts and preparing final submissions.

About You:

* Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator within the building services or facilities management industry.

* Strong knowledge of mechanical services such as HVAC, plumbing, and general building services systems.

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

* Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with high attention to detail.

* Strong communication and negotiation abilities.

* Proficient in estimation software and Microsoft Office.
