SupplyWell is on the lookout for an enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) who is looking for a more rewarding and flexible role to join a school in Salford, Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity for a supply teacher to make a positive impact on the students and wider school community, but providing you the freedom to choose when you work.
The role of HLTA will require the delivery of support to pupils with a range of learning difficulties and complex needs to students across KS1 & KS2. You will be supported with quality resources, equipment, and fellow staff.

As a HLTA, you will have high expectations for all students and are committed to developing their full potential. Previous experience in working with ASD / SEND pupils is desireable. As a HLTA you must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills; possess good literacy, numeracy and ICT skills in order to support learning; have the ability to promote independence and confidence and be an excellent role model to all.
You must have a caring, positive and flexible attitude with a willingness to work as part of a team, as well as be able to use your own initiative and work without supervision.

The Ideal Candidate

Level 2 Teaching Assistant or higher

A commitment to excellence in teaching and behaviour management

Prior experience in SEN and as a HLTA
