At TP Tutors, we’re searching for dedicated Science Tutors to support pupils outside of mainstream school education across Nottinghamshire. Teaching Personnel is looking for a passionate and committed Science Tutor to provide targeted tuition and intervention for students who need additional academic support. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach Science to looked-after children, low-achieving students, and others who would benefit from extra assistance.
Role and Responsibilities of the Science Tutor role:
Delivering high-quality Science tutoring sessions at the secondary level.
Offering personalized support tailored to each student’s unique learning needs.
Creating interactive and engaging sessions to foster a love for Science.
Monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback through our learning platform, LEAP.

Requirements:
A valid, enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check (or willingness to obtain one).
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, with free child protection and Prevent Duty training provided.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
