Job Title: Workshop Technician
Location: Pembridge, Herefordshire
Salary: £27,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week, onsite)
 
The Opportunity:
This is an excellent opportunity to join a long-established Engineering Design Consultancy, renowned for their expertise in Mechanical and Electronic Engineering, Product Design, and Analysis. Based in Pembridge, Herefordshire, they work on a range of exciting and diverse projects and you'll have the opportunity to explore and develop your passion alongside a team of skilled engineers. 
 
The Role:
We are seeking a full-time Workshop Technician to manage our client's 3D printing operations and coordinate workshop activities. Additionally, the role includes assembly assistance for project prototypes, with opportunities to contribute to mechanical and electronic design tasks. This is a hands-on role that will allow you to actively support the creation of prototypes and test new designs in our workshop.
 
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee 3D printing and ensure availability of printing supplies
Coordinate day-to-day workshop activities to improve efficiency
Assist in the assembly of prototypes and support project builds
Collaborate with engineers on mechanical and electronic design aspects
Maintain a well-organized and efficient workshop environment About You:

You likely have an engineering qualification (HNC, HND, or a degree), but your attitude, engagement, and hands-on approach are what really matter
You enjoy tinkering and working on hobbies that enhance your technical skill set
You have a practical mindset and are excited by the challenge of building and testing prototypes
You are IT literate and would relish learning new skills such as CAD design
You are eager to take ownership of workshop activities and contribute to improving processes and workflow What Our Client is Offering:
