Our client specialise in consulting, designing, and installing sustainable energy solutions for commercial and industrial projects across the country. With a design team of 130 professionals, ranging from Graduate to Director level, spread across five offices, they are a leader in their field.

They are seeking an Associate Design Director to lead a department focused on designing Heat Pumps, District Heating Systems, and Plant Rooms for sectors such as Healthcare, Education, and Commercial projects. In this role, you'll oversee a team of 4 Principal Mechanical Engineers, who in turn manage teams of Senior and Intermediate engineers.

Your key responsibilities will include driving department strategy, spearheading growth, and managing pre-construction processes. This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the largest names in sustainable energy, with ambitious plans to exceed half a billion in turnover within the next five years.

Requirements:

* Principal or Associate Level, experienced working for a Mechanical Engineering, Utilities or Energy focused Consultant or Contractor

* Managed sign off and strategy for large infrastructure or Mechanical Engineer projects

* Experience managing Senior or Principal Mechanical Engineers

Associate Design Director Package:

£100,000 Base Salary +
