Stores Operative
£11.44 - £12 per hour
Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm (With an early finish on Friday!)
 
We are currently recruiting for a motivated and detail-oriented Stores Operative with a valid Forklift Truck (FLT) license to join our growing team.
 
Key Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, and process incoming deliveries.
Operate forklifts to safely and efficiently move stock around the warehouse.
Pick, pack, and dispatch orders according to company standards.
Maintain accurate stock records using our inventory management system.
Conduct regular stock checks and assist with stocktaking procedures.
Ensure the store area is clean, well-organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
Assist with the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles.
Handle returns and damaged goods according to established procedures.
Collaborate with other departments to meet stock requirements and deadlines.Requirements:

A valid Forklift Truck (FLT) license is essential.
Proven experience in a warehouse or stores operative role.
Familiarity with stock management systems
Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and moving heavy items.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
