A well-established, medium-sized consultancy with over 50 years of experience is seeking a dynamic Health & Safety Advisor to support their Midlands clients.

This is a full-time, remote-based position, with the flexibility to manage your own diary and travel to sites within a 50-mile radius from your home. The role sits within a collaborative team covering Manchester and the Midlands, offering a fantastic opportunity for personal and professional growth.

The Health & Safety Advisor Role

As the Health & Safety Advisor, your main responsibilities will include:

Conducting site inspections on construction projects and producing detailed reports.
Collaborating closely with the Regional Director to identify and address the health and safety training needs of employees.
Developing and implementing safety policies to ensure compliance across all sites.
Training staff on best practices in health and safety.
Performing regular workplace inspections and risk assessments.
Recording and investigating workplace accidents.
Staying current with health and safety legislation and industry best practices.
Logging into the online portal to complete risk assessments, method statements, and COSHH assessments.The Health & Safety Advisor

The successful Health & Safety Advisor will:

Have proven experience working within a construction consultancy.
Hold the NEBOSH Construction Certificate (essential).
Possess a strong understanding of health and safety within the construction industry.
Be an engaging communicator, IT literate, and comfortable liaising with all levels.
Be self-disciplined and capable of managing their own schedule.
Hold a valid driving license.In Return?
