Salary: GBP 170 to 260 per day (Based on Experience)
Job Type: Temp to Perm
Working Days: Only Monday to Thursday
Open Hours: 8:00am to 4:00pm

About the School:

An Ofsted 'Good', SEN and disabilities (SEND) school based in Havering. Pupils range from Reception - Sixth Form. Focused on their specific additional needs and support that directly helps each person. Support can be either in the classroom, working individually, or in groups outside the classroom.

About the Role:

The SEN School are looking for a qualified Science Teacher that can teach Maths classes part of the week. Primarily teaching science but about a 70% / 30% split between both subjects. Teaching at KS2 and KS3 level curriculum to Secondary aged students. Supporting a good work-life balance with only a 4-day working week.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Strong Science or Maths subject background with ability to teach the other
Experience teaching SEN, preferably ASD specifically
Ability to Plan and Deliver tailored lessons to classes of ranging abilities
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
Up to date safeguarding certificate and Enhanced DBS on the Update
Right to work in the UK
