Mechanical Design Engineer – Automated Machinery – Mechanical – Brownhills

Are you a mechanically biased Design Engineer who would like to work in a company where you are a person rather than a payroll number?

Brooklyn Recruitment currently have a Design Engineer’s role available in the Brownhills area of the West Midlands to join a small friendly team. The company design, manufacture and install cleaning systems.

As a mechanically biased Design Engineer you will be:

* Seeing projects through from conception to completion.

* Creating project Designs.

* Ability to interpret technical drawings.

* Be proficient in the use of AutoCad and Solidworks.

* Keeping up to date with technology advancements.

* Ensuring designs comply to industry standards and regulations.

* Collaborating with other engineers and stakeholders.

* Other duties as required.

To be suitable for this role of Design Engineer you should have previous design experience preferably within the automated systems arena / cleaning systems arena. You should also have AutoCAD experience, Solidworks is an advantage but is not essential and hold a formal engineering qualification.

The hours of work for this role are Mon – Fri 8.30am – 5pm or 8am – 4.30pm if preferred and is office based.
