HGV Workshop Technician to join the team based in Bridgwater. You will be working on a full time, permanent basis, working Monday – Friday 06:00 – 14:00 (week 1) and 14:00 – 22:00 (week 2) – rotating shift and in return, you will receive a highly competitive salary of £42,941.18 per annum plus excellent company benefits

What you’ll be doing as our Workshop Technician:

* Ensuring vehicles are repaired and maintained in accordance with prescribed standards

* Preparing and presenting vehicles and trailers for MOT inspections

* Diagnosing vehicle-related defects using available diagnostic equipment and arrange for relevant action to be taken

* Liaising with vehicle manufacturers regarding acquiring of parts and replacement vehicles, keeping key colleagues informed of progress where necessary

* Ensuring high levels of safety and cleanliness at all times and that required house-keeping duties meet required standards

* Updating and maintaining appropriate records and ensuring all relevant information is shared with relevant departments on a timely basis
