About the Role:

We are currently looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to help with the delivery of a £15.5 million residential scheme in Stretford, set to commence in November 2024. The project involves the construction of apartments and housing for a housing association, and the ideal candidate will have a strong track record in managing residential projects of this scale.

Key Responsibilities:

* Preparing bills and schedules for materials, labor, and services

* Oversee and coordinate all aspects of the project, including, scheduling, budgeting, and client liaison.

* Cost reporting and valuation

* Ensure strict compliance with health and safety standards on-site.

* Liaise with the Housing Association client, keeping them informed of project progress and addressing any concerns or changes.

* Agreeing and producing final accounts

* Monitor and control the project budget, ensuring costs are controlled and efficiencies are maximised.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on residential schemes, particularly with housing associations.

* Ability to manage complex projects, overseeing multiple costings and ensuring timely delivery.

* Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.

* Strong commercial awareness with the ability to control budgets and manage costs effectively.

* Degree or equivalent qualification
