Location: Cramlington

Salary: £40,000 per annum

This is an exciting opportunity for an Operations Manager to join a well-established business. You will drive departmental collaboration, continuous improvement, and enhance profitability working to achieve business objectives.

The Job:

* Ensuring production output targets are achieved.

* Monitoring KPIs and driving initiatives to improve productivity, reduce waste, and lower operational costs.

* Address customer complaints and implement corrective actions

* Lead, motivate, and develop a team of production supervisors, engineers, and technicians.

* Develop and execute operational strategies that align with business objectives.

* Promote a safe working environment and drive initiatives to reduce workplace incidents

* Manage approved operational budget, identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements

What you will bring to the team:

* Experience in operations management, within engineering or manufacturing sector

* Knowledge of quality management systems.

* Leadership and team management skills.

* Previous experience in strategic planning and process optimisation.

* Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.

* Experience with ERP systems and production planning tools
