Abatec has a fantastic opportunity for a freelance Site Engineer to join our client on a Major Project on Hinkley Point C. Our client, an award-winning, tier-one contractor is delivering major works on a long-term project in Bridgwater.

The Successful candidate will have previously worked as a Site Engineer on major projects and have experience working on Secondary Lining and RC projects.

As a Site Engineer you will:

* Produce as-built drawings & records for every element of the works involved in

* Comply with the site-specific health and safety protocols to ensure any health and safety concerns are identified and reported as necessary.

* Complete Quality Check Sheets, & maintain accurate records e.g. Daily Diary, records of Site Discussions

* Set out primary control provided by others, and read and determine information from drawings, schedules, and specification

Our client requires a Site Engineer with:

* CSCS Card & Driving License

* Setting out experience using level, EDM & GPS

* Previous Major Project experience

* Understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and ITP’s

* Degree or relevant qualification in Civil Engineering

* Flexibility to work unsociable hours/nights

Salary/Benefits:

* £400 - £450 Per Day PAYE Umbrella
