Job Title: Food Production Operative
Location: Derby, DE24
Pay Rate: £11.80 per hour

Working Hours:

* Monday - Friday:

* 07:00 - 17:00

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Food Production Operative. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team engaged in food processing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Working on the production line, preparing raw meat products.

* Adding ingredients, packing, and labeling products.

* De-boxing various meat primals onto tables.

* De-bagging primals and placing them into trays.

* Lifting boxes from pallets to the de-boxing area (up to 20kg).

* Disposing of empty boxes and bags into rubbish skips.

* Collecting clean trays from the tray wash area.

* Handling heavy lifting tasks as required.

* Rotating tasks with the team to ensure efficient operation.

* Maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety.

* Collaborating effectively in a team environment.

Ideal Candidate:

* Experience in the food industry, especially with raw meat (pork, beef, poultry), is preferred.

* Comfortable working in cold conditions for approximately 9 hours daily.

* Physically fit to handle lifting up to 20kg.

* Flexible with working hours, as shifts may vary depending on the department.

* Teamwork-oriented with a strong work ethic.
