JRS Associates have partnered up with an exciting company in Sheffield to recruit an CNC Turner for their Engineering Development team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a high-tolerance machining cell, focusing on CNC turning and honing of high-value, exotic alloy components.
Job Title: CNC Turner
Reporting to: Engineering Development Manager
Division: Engineering Development
Salary: Competitive salary discussed with suitable candidates

Shift Pattern: Night shift, 37.5 hours & 5 days per week
(Training will be provided on the day shift until signed off.)
Overtime as requested to meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
*
Operate small to medium CNC turning machines.
*
Ideally, have experience with Okuma OSP, Fanuc, and Mazatrol systems.
*
Familiarity with honing machines and exotic alloys is preferred.
*
Maintain and own the quality of machined products.
*
Follow all required documentation standards.
*
Work to fine tolerances and production schedules.
*
Carry out planned health and safety checks of equipment.
*
Maintain high housekeeping standards.
*
Perform any reasonable tasks as requested by the Team Leader or Manager.
