We are seeking an Account Director with a passion for consultative selling who can create, build, and maintain successful sponsorship partnerships across our portfolio of 15 events, while delivering tailored marketing solutions to meet client needs.
Knowledge of the healthcare industry is a bonus but not essential – what matters most is your ability to drive revenue growth through innovative and strategic sales plans.

Job purpose, tasks and responsibilities
As the Sales Account Director, you’ll play a key role in driving revenue growth through event sponsorship sales and marketing solutions.
You will be responsible for acquiring new business while fostering and growing existing client relationships.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Exceeding sales targets – Proactively developing a robust sales pipeline and closing new business deals.
* Building relationships – Establishing and nurturing partnerships with senior decision-makers across a range of industries.
* Consultative selling – Understanding client needs and delivering tailored sponsorship solutions that align with their marketing objectives.
* Sales planning – Creating and implementing a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve your monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
* Forecasting and reporting – Accurately forecasting sales, maintaining detailed records in Salesforce, and providing regular reports to management.
* Collaboration – Working closely with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of sponsorship packages and marketing campaigns.
In order to be successful in this role, it’s essential that you have:
* Extensive experience in B2B event sponsorship or media sales, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
* Strong new business development skills, with the ability to identify and convert opportunities into long-term partnerships.
* Experience in consultative selling and relationship management.
* Proficiency in using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) to manage pipelines and client relationships effectively.
* A passion for working in a high-energy, fast-paced environment where success is driven by achieving sales goals.
It would be great if you had:
* Knowledge of the UK healthcare sector or experience selling to healthcare organisations.
* Experience in selling marketing solutions alongside event sponsorship.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present confidently to senior stakeholders.
