My client is seeking to recruit a competent Part Time Filing Assistant, to work Monday to Friday, 4 hours each day in the office.

There is flexibility on the start / finish times for the right candidate, as long as they can commit to working from the office 4 hours each day.

Job Overview
Update and maintain the manual purchase ledger filing system to ensure all supplier statements and invoices are filed correctly in alphabetical/numerical order and on time.

Daily Responsibilities:

1. Identify, print off, code, and distribute all supplier invoices.

2. File in numerical order, all processed invoices/credit notes.

3. As and when required, chase suppliers for statements.

4. Act as first point of contact for all telephone calls into the department from suppliers and redirect enquiries or manage as appropriate.

Person Specification

1. Computer Literate: working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).

2. Experience of accurately updating and maintaining a large manual filing system.

3. Possess accurate attention to detail.

4. Possess clear handwriting of words and numbers.

5. Ability to accurately sort and file large quantities of paper documents.

6. Possess an excellent telephone manner.

7. Ability to prioritise workload on a day to day basis
