About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Food Technology Teacher to inspire students in the exciting world of culinary arts and food science. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that teach students about nutrition, food preparation, safety, and the science behind cooking. You’ll encourage creativity, hands-on skills, and healthy eating habits in a fun and practical learning environment. You will have a passion for food, safety expertise, and a commitment to empowering students.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement a food technology curriculum that meets academic standards and promotes kitchen skills and nutritional awareness.

* Lead practical cooking sessions, demonstrating techniques and ensuring safe use of equipment.

* Assess student progress through both practical and theoretical assignments, providing constructive feedback.

* Promote a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom atmosphere where all students feel confident to participate.

* Collaborate with colleagues to integrate food technology into interdisciplinary projects.

Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status or strong experience teaching Food Technology

A passion for education and working with children.
