Job title: Kitchen Porter/ F&B Assistant

Salary: 12 GBP p/hr

Location: Ravenscar, North Yorks

Charge for accommodation: 64 GBP per week

Workplace description: A great opportunity to join an award winning 3 star Country House Hotel, in a stunning location. The Hotel is one of the busiest Wedding venues in the area and along with leisure guests also caters for large groups and conferences accommodating around 110 guests.

Main duties and responsibilities as Kitchen Porter: The role is one of the most important in our business, as you will be responsible for keeping our busy kitchen clean and equipment organised, working closely with the head chef to maintain standards.

Main duties and responsibilities as F&B Assistant include bar work, serving food and drinks, waiting on tables, providing customer service, cash handling, and other associated tasks as required.

Essential criteria: You will have a passion for the industry and attention to detail. You must also have an excellent attitude and the willingness to learn and be looking to develop your career. The desire to get on in the industry is more important than your previous experience. You need to be a dedicated, punctual, methodical person, who is used to a bit of hard graft! There is stock arriving every day so part of the role will include lifting and carrying, some heavy, some just cumbersome!!
