Our client, a well-established specialist within the passive fire protection industry, is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of projects within the commercial, residential, and industrial sectors, ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparing accurate cost estimates and quotations for passive fire protection works
Reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents
Conducting site visits to assess requirements and gather project details
Liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure accurate pricing and project planning
Identifying cost-saving opportunities while maintaining high-quality standards
Assisting with bid preparation and contract negotiations

Requirements:

Proven experience as an Estimator within the passive fire protection industry
Strong understanding of fire-stopping, fire doors, intumescent coatings, and compartmentation
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
Excellent numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills
Proficient in using estimating software and Microsoft Office
