Group Accountant

Worcestershire - commutable from Alcester, Broadway, Cheltenham, Evesham, Pershore, Redditch, Stratford upon Avon

Up to £60,000 per annum subject to experience

T2M Resourcing are delighted to have been appointed to recruit this Group Accountant opportunity for a leading company in the Evesham area. This role is ideally suited to a qualified accountant who is technically strong, a voice around the numbers, confident, and personable with experience of leading direct reports.

Responsibilities of the Group Accountant:

* Account for ‘Group’ entities

* Group consolidations

* Financial accounting

* Production of month end management accounts in line with agreed time frames

* Ensuring effective management of accounting information held within the ledgers

* Ensuring balance sheet reconciliations are up to date with robust working papers and reconciling items are investigated and resolved

* Lead the Group annual budget and periodic reforecast processes

* Monitoring deviation from budget, investigating and commenting on variances.

* Provide support in the annual audit of Group entities

Requirements to be successful as a Group Accountant:

* Qualified accountant

* Able to produce accurate and timely reporting, whilst being able to understand the underlying dynamics of the business

* Experience of producing management accounts

* Excellent experience of Excel

* Great communication skills with the ability to lead and inspire
