Senior Planner – Freelance – Manchester – Up to 6 months
A leading contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Planner to support a major project in Manchester. This freelance role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a large-scale development, contributing to the planning and delivery of a complex, high-profile expansion.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring alignment with overall project objectives.
Collaborate with project teams, stakeholders, and contractors to drive efficient project delivery.
Monitor progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
Provide regular reports and updates on programme performance and key milestones.
Utilise industry-standard planning software (Primavera P6) to manage project schedules.
Support risk analysis and change management processes.Requirements:

Proven experience in project planning within major projects.
Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and other planning tools.
Extensive NEC contract experience.
Ability to analyse complex programmes and present clear, strategic solutions.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
