My client is a well-established manufacturing company based in Burnley. They specialise in quality precision pressed components and are a leading supplier of engineering subcontract services across the UK. They are renowned in their field for excellent service. Their team are looking for a dedicated customer service assistant, who can develop accounts and gain new business with experience in social media and marketing.

The ideal candidate will bring a fresh approach to their social media presence and deliver excellent customer care through various channels, including; website, email and telephone.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay- £26,000

Schedule:

* Monday-Thursday 08:30- 16:45

* Friday 08:30-13:30

(36 hours p/w)

Responsibilities:

* Proactive approach to customer requirements

* Handling both incoming and outbound calls for customers

* Assist with developing and maintaining their social media account

* General marketing duties

* Identify customer needs and expectations

* Work closely with management to ensure orders are fulfilled on time

* Assist with the day-to-day office duties

Skills Required:

* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

* Organised and professional in manner

* A desire to deliver exceptional customer service

* Remain calm under pressure

* Creative approach to determining problems and finding solutions

* Ability to work on own initiative

* A keen eye for quality and enthusiasm to get the job done correctly

* Good IT Skills including using excel

* Ability to multi-task while navigating tight deadlines

* Highly organised and enthusiastic

* A team player

Qualifications Required:

* English, Maths and ICT- GCSE or equivalent
