Sayjo Recruitment Ltd are acting on behalf of a client to recruit a Production Operative.

Our client is a well-established company based in Halifax.

They have a production area where they manufacture materials for sale to foundries. These can be using adhesives, costings, sands etc.

The role will involve lots of different tasks including heavy lifting, all of which can be trained, the key to the success of this role, is finding someone with a great work ethic, who works well as part of a small team and has excellent attention to detail.

Key tasks:

* Work under the guidance of Operations Supervisor to perform assigned daily duties in a timely manner

* Record accurate data where and how requested

* Ensure all equipment is maintained in good, safe and working order

* Ensure equipment and area is clean at the end of each day

* Operate forklift trucks safely (training given)

Requirements:

* Previous work experience to demonstrate you have a good work ethic

* Reliable with excellent timekeeping and attendance record

* Good attention to detail – verbal and written

* Willing to learn and take onboard training

* Friendly and able to fit in with a small team

Working hours - 07.00am - 4pm Monday to Friday with half an hour unpaid lunch and 2 paid 15 minutes breaks.

Overtime is available
