Key Responsibilities:
Managing the design, installation, and maintenance of geotechnical instrumentation and monitoring systems
Developing and implementing monitoring strategies to ensure project compliance
Analysing geotechnical data and providing comprehensive reports and recommendations
Collaborating with design teams to integrate monitoring requirements into project plans
Liaising with clients and stakeholders to present findings and address any concerns
Ensuring health and safety regulations are strictly adhered to during installation and monitoring activities
Maintaining documentation and monitoring data for project records
Leading a team of technicians and overseeing their work to ensure high standards are met
Job Requirements:
Proficiency in geotechnical engineering principles and instrumentation technologies
Experience in designing and implementing monitoring strategies for various projects
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
Excellent report writing and communication skills
Understanding of health and safety regulations related to geotechnical instrumentation
Ability to lead and manage a team effectively
Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
Experience with cross-sector projects and multi-disciplinary teams
