This CNC Setter/Operator position is well-suited for individuals with a robust background in subcontract CNC manufacturing. The role is based in Cirencester, working a permanent day shift. and offers a competitive salary range of £30,000 to £32,000 per year, along with an attractive benefits package.

The client seeks a CNC Setter/Operator to join our client’s dynamic team, reporting directly to the Production Supervisor. The ideal candidate will work with a variety of machine tools, including Mazak, 5-axis and 3-axis machines, utilising Fanuc controls. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficiency and quality of the production process.

Responsibilities include setting and operating CNC milling machine tools, establishing tooling and fixturing according to setup sheets, and monitoring tool life. The CNC Setter/Operator will also be tasked with verifying manufacturing standards using measuring equipment and securing First Off inspection approval for each operation. Maintaining accurate real-time operation logs in the Shop Floor Data Capture system while adhering to all health and safety policies is essential.
