The Handyperson is responsible for performing a variety of repair, maintenance, and improvement tasks in a commercial/industrial property. This role requires the ability to handle carpentry, and general maintenance issues to ensure buildings and equipment are kept in good working order.
Perform basic repairs such as fixing broken windows, doors, etc
Repair damaged walls, ceilings, or floors.
Install and repair fixtures such as door handles, shelves, and curtain rods.
Install and repair wooden structures such as decking, fences, or partitions.
Perform minor woodworking tasks like cutting and fitting materials.
Perform minor repairs on household equipment where necessary.
Follow all health and safety regulations while performing tasks.
Ensure work areas are kept clean and hazard-free.
Use and maintain tools and equipment responsibly.
Inspect property regularly for maintenance issues such as leaks, broken fixtures, or faulty equipment.
Respond promptly to emergency repair calls and maintenance requests.
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by completing work to a high standard.
Ability to work with hand and power tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Ability to lift heavy materials or equipment.
Comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
