THE CLIENT
Our client are a highly successful pub group in Surrey and Winners for the 3rd year running at the 2024 Publican Awards – Best Pub Employer.

THE ROLE
We are looking Experienced Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef to run a busy service and help lead and mentor teams of 7-8 on average for a very busy pub service. The menus are group wide and 70% is made fresh in house- sauces, soups, pies etc..

REQUIREMENTS
We are looking for Sous Chefs committed and passionate about their teams and about the food that they serve. You will need to have some previous experience of working in a high-volume kitchen – delivering dishes to company time standards and specification and managing  a busy service. A key factor of your success will be the ability to remain calm under pressure, and have the qualities to lead and motivate the team to consistently produce great food.

You will have a solid commitment to mentoring and developing teams, and a keen eye for detail
You will assist the Head Chef in providing exceptional food quality and presentation
You will strive to ensure the kitchen is run professionally, profitably, efficiently and compliantly BENEFITS
