Abatec are recruiting for a CNC Machine Operator (Trainee considered) to join our client's team in the Yatton/Clevedon area. This is a full-time, Monday to Friday role, with overtime available.

What We're Looking For:

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a CNC Operator or in a similar role in a manufacturing environment., working with production equipment or some engineering knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

* Operating CNC machines to carry out cutting, drilling, milling, and other machining tasks

* Reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints

* Conducting quality checks on finished products

* Maintaining and cleaning CNC machinery

Requirements:

* Basic mechanical / engineering knowledge and experience using hand tools (advantageous)

* Experience in materials handling within a warehouse setting is advantageous.

* Ability to use hand tools effectively and safely in the assembly process.

* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

* Familiarity with logic controllers (beneficial but not essential)

* Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
