Description

The key responsibilities of the Management Accountant include:

Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
Monitor and analyse accounting data and produce financial reports and statements.
Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
Coordinate and complete annual audits.
Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Meet financial accounting objectives.

A successful Management Accountant should have:

Ideally working towards professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA).
Proven working experience in the business services or hospitality industry.
