Rate of pay - £11.93 per hour

Hours of work - Mon to Fri 7am – 3:30pm

Opportunity to do extra hours up to 50 per week

This role becomes permanent after 3 months subject to you achieving business milestones

THE COMPANY

Westray Recruitment Consultants are currently working with a well-known furniture retailer. Our client is looking to recruit multiple drivers who will carry out deliveries of their furniture to local business and domestic customers. You will be working for an established brand and driving their company vehicles.

THE ROLE

You will be driving a 3.5 tonne company vehicle delivering and moving goods

You will be carrying out labour duties loading/unloading and delivering furniture goods

Manual lifting of objects in the warehouse, and some basic assembly work

You will support the warehouse with unloading, assembly and movement of goods

You will carry out general labouring duties and housekeeping (tidying up)

THE CANDIDATE

You will need a UK driving licence for this role

You will have no more than 6 points on your driving licence

You will be physically fit and have some prior or similar experience in this type of role

You will have knowledge of basic assembly and some DIY skills to put together furniture

Successful candidates will show a good working attitude and be willing to work long shifts

No students please
