Principal Auditor

G2 Recruitment are working alongside our client to hire a permanent Principal Auditor

Salary: £45,441-£48,474 per annum

Start Date: From the end of August

Working Pattern: 37 hours per week, flexi hours, audit committee every 3 months which will be an evening meeting where attendance is mandated

Flexible/Remote Working: Hybrid work, approx. 1-2 days per week onsite and onsite for audit committees

Responsibilities

Managing internal audit team
Managing and creating audit plan
Deputising for senior staff where necessary
Attendance at audit committeeRequirements

Ideally CCAB/CIIA qualified, open to consider part qualified and support if needs be but experience would have to be exceptional
Ideally some local government experience
