Production Operative

Pertemps are currently recruiting for a skilled Production Operative to join a dynamic engineering company based in Basingstoke. Our client is looking for a candidate with a keen attention to detail to join their team and grow within their fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Assembly and packing of machinery
- Cleaning and conditioning of machinery parts
- carrying out quality checks on machines once assembled
- Assembly of spare parts and stock items
- Assist with quality and computer factory acceptance checks
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace

Requirments for this role:
- Previous experience within an engineering/manufacturing environment
- Proven ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Packages
- Be able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- Good time keeping & physically fit for lifting.
- Clean driving license

The Production Operative role:
- Salary of £27,000 per annum depending on experience
- 22 days holiday plus bank holidays
- Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm
- Medical cash plan
