The Mechanical Manager Role

As the Mechanical Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering departments, managing a team of 25 skilled professionals. Your key duties will include:

Providing overall leadership and direction to the Mechanical Maintenance and Mechanical Project Engineering teams
Ensuring the highest levels of safety and compliance across all operations
Liaising with suppliers, contractors, and regulatory bodies to maintain efficient and effective processes
Driving continuous improvement and implementing innovative solutions to enhance the company's capabilities

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate for this Mechanical Manager role will possess the following qualifications and experience:

A Mechanical Engineering HNC or degree-level qualification
A minimum of 10 years' experience in an industrial manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role
Proven expertise in Computerised Maintenance Management Systems
Excellent personnel management and communication skills
A flexible, adaptable approach to managing multiple priorities and changing operational needs
