My client based in Stockton is looking for an experienced Proposals Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team, for an organisation that trades on a global scale.

The ideal candidate for this position will have previous experience of working in estimating and/or sales roles, with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Duties will include, but not limited to:

Developing detailed engineering proposals for clients, including cost estimates, schedules and project plans
Collaborating with sales and technical teams to understand project requirements
Collaborating cross-functionally with sales, technical, and management teams to fully understand project requirements
Presenting proposals to clients and stakeholders, addressing queries and concerns
Manage multiple proposal projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and submission
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitive landscape, and technical advancements
Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain necessary quotations and technical data
Receive and review Purchase Order Requisition from Customers
Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and industry standards in all proposals.

Salary: £37-£42k per annum

Hours: Mon-Fri, Day Shift

Role: Immediate start for the right candidate
