A great opportunity has arisen for a Production Controller to join a leading manufacturing company, who provide worldclass solutions to a variety of industries including, Oil & Gas & Offshore.

Job Description:

Releasing job cards into production in line with agreed schedules.
Handling change to WIP from engineering up revision, and ensuring correct embodiment is followed and actioned.
Pushing and pulling product through the production and stores departments.
Reviewing shortages and expediting priority materials and activities in line with production requirements.
Assist with progress reporting on production.
Direct liaison with project managers on dedicated projects
Small projects or technical sales order management with support from project team.
Identify and implement continuous improvements as part of a team.Beneficial Skills / Qualifications:

Educated in a technical field.
Proven competency in manufacturing resource planning / materials requirements planning.
Prior manufacturing experience - knowledge of schematics / production processes
Production planning processes.
Good communication skills.
Working under own initiative.
Relationship development as part of a team.
Aware of time critical responsibilities.
Must be computer literate.
Production processes (within an engineering business preferred).
Previous experience of manufacturing resource planning / materials requirements.
ERP system functionality.
Microsoft Excel to intermediate standard ideally: (pivot tables, xlookups advantageous)
