A great food manufacturer in North Lanarkshire is seeking a maintenance engineer to join their team.

To excel in this role, you should be a fully qualified multi-skilled maintenance engineer, ideally with experience in the food manufacturing sector.

You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel in teamwork, and possess strong communication skills.

* £45,000 - £49,000

* Monday to Thursday – 2pm - 10pm

* Friday – 12pm - 8pm

Duties:

* Responsible for assisting in the daily maintenance of production equipment.

* Work on any unscheduled and emergency maintenance work, including all fault finding and necessary repairs

* Strive to identify the root cause on each occasion

* Deliver the maintenance programmed in line with the planned preventative maintenance vision with all works performed

* You will also ensure that maintenance work is carried out with due diligence and in compliance with food safety, health and safety and legal and quality systems.

* Opportunity to participate in project work including continuous and profit improvement

* Work closely with the site operations team

Experience Required

* Fully qualified multi skilled maintenance engineer with relevant qualifications (Electrical Based)

* Previous working experience gained in an FMCG environment

* Experience of working in a lean/CI environment
